Welcoming Chef Adam Savage & A Fall Culinary Update

WELCOME CHEF SAVAGE!

We are thrilled to announce that we have welcomed Chef Adam Savage (Certified Executive Chef) to our culinary team as our new Executive Chef of The Queensbury Hotel and Director of Culinary of Spruce Hospitality!

Chef Savage has an extensive resume that includes experience from The Breakers Hotel, The Sanibel Harbor Resort and Delray Beach Marriott in Florida to his most recent tenure as the Executive Chef of The Sagamore Resort in Bolton Landing, NY.

With Chef’s arrival to The Q, he will oversee our growing culinary team and will lead an exciting overhaul of our current banquet and special event offerings. And working alongside our Chef de Cuisine Colin Miner, they’ll take steps to help elevate our guest culinary and dining experience to something truly special and unique for our region. Whether you’re dining in Fenimore’s Pub or Park 26 or celebrating a wedding with us or attending a corporate event… we’re ready to “wow” you with impressive menu selections, beautiful presentation and top notch service.

And as you may have already heard… we have BIG plans to forge ahead with our Adirondack Ballroom expansion project in 2021. We’ll take our current 2,200 square foot Adirondack Ballroom and enlarge it to 6,000+ square feet of event space that can accommodate events of 400+ people. We know with Chef Savage’s decades of experience and true talent, we will be more than ready for this next step in the restoration and rebirth of our city’s Queen!

“I am honored to join Spruce Hospitality and The Queensbury Hotel team. The hotel is a stunning beauty laden in rich history. It is a very exciting time at the hotel, you can feel the energy in the air. It is incredible! We will be introducing some new and exciting culinary programs very soon. Stay tuned!”

With fall right around the corner, we asked our culinary team to share an autumn inspired dish and recipe… head on over to our latest Chef’s Corner to learn about the Pear and Mascarpone pasta dish they featured that you can make at home (and that you may even see on a future menu)!


PARK PATIO MUSIC SERIES EXTENDED:

 

In case you missed it… we’ve extended our Park Patio Music Series through September! Now through October 7th we’ll have live music on the Park Patio every Wednesday from 4-8pm.

Enjoy dinner and drinks on the patio overlooking City Park or in the cozy courtyard around the fire bowls.

 


FENIMORE’S PUB TO RE-OPEN SOON:

Wood Bar

Have no fear… everyone’s favorite pub will be re-opening its doors soon for indoor dining! After some summertime renovations and maintenance we’ll be heading into fall ready to welcome our regulars, locals and travelers alike.

Stay tuned for an official re-opening date!

And in the meantime you can dine with us for breakfast, lunch and dinner 7 days a week on the Park Patio, Courtyard or Park 26 Dining Room.
