Orlando Baxter is a nationally touring stand-up comedian and former high school teacher whose sharp wit and relatable stories have made him a fan favorite across the globe. He’s appeared on Conan, BET’s 50 Central, TruTV’s Laff Mobb’s Laff Tracks, and Comedy Up Late in Australia. His DryBar special Glorified Baby Sitter has over 10 million views, and his latest YouTube series, Classroom Confessions, showcases his signature mix of honesty, heart, and hilarious school stories.
Born and raised in the Glens Falls area, Mike was one of the winners of Charles Penguin’s Hilarity & Hops Open-Mic Comedy Showdown and has opened for us and a few other local comedy shows. But this has not been his first time making people laugh with his quick angry old man wit. His love of comedy started in 1984 when his Dad took him to see Rodney Dangerfield. You can see him every week on the Talkin’ Smack Podcast at the Bullpen Tavern and every weekday morning waiting in line to pay for is coffee.
